Reviewer

Reviewers play an important role in maintaining the scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, and academic contribution of articles published in the Global Journal of Digital Business, Marketing, and Social Development. Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening will be assigned to reviewers with expertise relevant to the topic of the manuscript.

Reviewers are expected to provide objective, critical, constructive, and evidence-based evaluations. Reviewer reports serve as an important basis for editorial decisions, including acceptance, revision, resubmission, or rejection.

Reviewer Selection Criteria

Reviewers are selected based on the following criteria:
Relevant expertise in the topic of the manuscript
Clear academic or professional affiliation
Experience in research, scholarly publication, or manuscript review
Absence of conflict of interest with the author or manuscript
Ability to provide objective, polite, constructive, and timely comments
Commitment to maintaining manuscript confidentiality

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are responsible for evaluating:
Relevance of the manuscript to the journal’s focus and scope
Clarity of the research problem and objectives
Originality and contribution of the manuscript
Strength of the theoretical framework and literature review
Appropriateness of research methodology
Quality of data analysis
Clarity of results and discussion
Consistency between findings and conclusion
Quality of references
Compliance with publication ethics
Reviewers must provide clear, actionable suggestions to authors. Reviewer comments should aim to improve the quality of the manuscript and must not contain personal attacks or inappropriate language.

Confidentiality

All manuscripts received for review are confidential documents. Reviewers are not allowed to share, copy, distribute, cite, or use unpublished manuscript content for personal, academic, professional, or commercial purposes without written permission from the editor.

Conflict of Interest

Reviewers must decline the review invitation if they have any conflict of interest with the author, institution, research object, sponsor, or any party related to the manuscript. Conflicts of interest may include family, employment, research collaboration, academic competition, supervisory relationships, or financial interests.
